  • What is Yummy Feed?

    A recipe app for people who cook at home. You collect recipes, cook them, log what you made with a photo, and rate it. Your friends see what you cooked and how it turned out, and their ratings shape what shows up in your feed.

  • How much does it cost?

    Nothing. Yummy Feed is free to join and free to use during early access. A paid tier called Yummy Plus comes later with the power tools.

  • How do I get it on my iPhone?

  • Is there an Android version?

    Yes, and you can install it today. Use the On Android link next to any waitlist form on this page to download the current build. It is not on the Play Store yet.

  • Can I bring in recipes from other sites?

    Paste the link and Yummy Feed pulls in the ingredients, the steps, and the photo, with a link back to the original so credit stays where it belongs. It works with sites like NYT Cooking, Serious Eats, Bon Appetit, and AllRecipes.

  • Why rate dishes head-to-head instead of with stars?

    Because nobody's five stars mean the same thing. When you log a make, Yummy Feed asks you to place it against dishes you have already cooked: better than this one, worse than that one. Ranking is easier to do honestly than picking a number out of the air, and it makes scores comparable between people.

  • Do I need friends on it for it to be useful?

    No. The discover feed is open to everyone on Yummy Feed, so there is plenty to cook from on day one. It gets sharper as you add the people you cook with, because then a score comes from someone whose taste you already know.

  • Does Yummy Feed run ads or sell my data?

    No to both. There is no third-party advertising and no cross-app tracking in the app, and we do not sell your personal information. The privacy policy lists exactly what gets collected and why.

  • Can I delete my account and everything in it?

    Yes, from inside the app at Settings then Delete account. It removes your profile, your recipes and makes, your photos, and your sign-in credentials. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
